Our area is in the path of Tropical Storm Isaias, please prepare your property for the impact of high winds and possible flooding. Secure outdoor furniture, trash and recycle receptacles, grills and waters vessels and prepare for power outages. The impact to our area will start late today and continue through Wednesday.
Check your neighbor’s property if they are not down or able to do this themselves. You can assist in securing loose items, this will help protect both your property and your neighbors.

Town of Ocean City Monitoring Path of Tropical Storm Isaias
OCEAN CITY, MD – (August 3, 2020): Ocean City Emergency Services is continuing to monitor the projected path of Tropical Storm Isaias. Currently, effects of the storm are expected to be in the Ocean City area beginning late Monday, August 3 through Tuesday, August 4.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are expected, with gusts reaching as high as 50 to 60 mph. Based on the current track, Ocean City could see several inches of rain and flooding during high tide cycles. Town of Ocean City personnel have begun completing pre-storm action items, including closing the seawall and removing items from the beach. Residents are encouraged to begin securing outdoor furniture, grills and waters vessels and prepare for power outages.
The Town of Ocean City will be posting storm related information on various websites, social media outlets and through the Emergency Alert system.
