Cape Windsor Community Association

Cape Windsor is an established private waterfront community consisting of 250 properties, located on Big Assawoman Bay adjoining the Southerly most border of the States of Delaware and Maryland. The community adjoins and is accessed via DE State Route #54 and is just 1.5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and 2 miles from Ocean City Maryland.

This community which was developed 40+ years ago by the Tate family and Great Eastern Development Corporation started out as a mobile home park and has been rezoned R1 consists of mobile/modular homes as well as 2 and 3 story homes developed in conjunction with the zoning change. The amenities offered to the residents include community maintained private pool, private boat ramp, small beach area for fishing, crabbing or just enjoying an afternoon of fun with family. Each residential property is privately owned, and the majority have bulk headed lots on large 90’ lagoons which lead out to Big Assawoman Bay which is just perfect for a day of sailing, cruising, fishing, tubing or just enjoying the bay.
